The button is attached to the top of the membership card, which is a beige bookmark type card with red print. The print on the card, which is approximately 1.5 inches wide. The button is not even an inch in circumference, and it is red with the white words encircling it: “I’m a Go-Hawk” is at the top and “Happy Tribe” is at the bottom. In the middle of the button is a young boy wearing an Indian headdress. The words inside of the card are the following:
	A Go-Hawk button here you’ll find,
		’Tis sent with love to you.
	This button with a magic touch
		To bring kind wishes true.
	The place its magic works the best
		Is near your heart, my Dear—
	Where, if you wear it, you will find
		It drives away all fear.
	The world will seem a jolly place
		In which to make folks glad.
	You’ll want to start a Happy Tribe
		For no one should be sad.
	O, Happy Tribes in Go-Hawk land—
		Where children love to stay,
	For fairies watch the Go-Hawk band,
		Keep all bad dreams away.
	We know ’tis there we want to go,
		The land is very fair—
	’Tis only reached by Happy Trails,
		A chief to guide us there.
	Your Go-Hawk button ever wear,
		Each day your kind deed do,
	Then full of magic it will be
		For children dear—like YOU!
At the bottom of the card, following the poem is a signature—Happy. An advertisement in the Des Moines Capital in which children of all ages were encouraged to send $3.00 for member-ship and their button.
