University Libraries supports The University of Southern Mississippi’s mission, vision, and values by expanding opportunities for open access (OA) scholarship and increasing the visibility of faculty and student research.

Through participation in transformative (read-and-publish) agreements with major publishers, University Libraries enables affiliated authors to publish in both gold and hybrid open access journals without incurring article processing charges (APCs). These agreements remove financial barriers to publishing and help ensure that research produced at Southern Miss is more widely accessible to readers around the world.

Below is a list of current transformative agreements offered by University Libraries. This list is updated regularly as we explore additional opportunities for open access publishing and continue to secure favorable subscription and publishing terms.
