News item published on: 2026-09-02 15:01:16

Each month, University Libraries highlights a resource from its collections. This month the featured resource is the Citation Help Research Guide.

The Citation Help Research Guide is a comprehensive, one-stop resource for all things related to citation, providing access to the style manuals most commonly used at Southern Miss, including APA, MLA, and Chicago, as well as discipline-specific resources such as the APSA Style Manual for Political Science and Scientific Style and Format, developed by the Council of Science Editors (CSE).

The guide also features information on citation management tools, with instructions for getting started with Zotero, Mendeley, and EndNote. Resources on academic integrity and plagiarism are also included, such as the University’s Student Academic Integrity Policy and a plagiarism tutorial.
