Each month University Libraries highlights a resource from its collections. This month the featured resource is the Children’s Literature Comprehensive Database (CLCD).

CLCD contains over two million records of juvenile books and multimedia. Users may filter searches by genre, language, country of publication, reader’s age, and Lexile measure. Details about each book include reviews from professional sources, information about any honors or awards received, and a list of other books with similar themes. The book details page also allows users to check library holdings. The database may also be searched through the Awards interface, allowing users to explore more than 1000 national and international awards. Users can search the Award interface by award name, state, or the country where the award originated.
