Science Café on the Coast: Ask a Mortician, Embalming

Have you ever wondered what goes into the process of embalming? Join us on October 29 at 6 p.m. at Gulf Coast Library for an informative and respectful discussion that explores the history, science, and art behind the practice of caring for the deceased.

The Science Café will be presented by Lynn Cozart, embalmer and licensed funeral director and Justin Ireland, care center manager and licensed funeral service practitioner, from Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Homes.

Following the presentation, Cozart and Ireland will host a Q&A session where attendees can ask questions of any kind—no topic is too small or unusual. Participants may also submit questions anonymously in advance.
