Lunch and Learn: Documentary Screening Explores the Hidden World of Caterpillars

University Libraries invites the campus community to a special screening of The Extraordinary Caterpillar, a beautifully filmed 60-minute documentary that reveals the vital—and often overlooked—role caterpillars play in healthy ecosystems.

From blooming meadows and city parks to backyard gardens, the film celebrates the wonder of nature while offering practical ways individuals and families can help support biodiversity in their own communities.

The documentary features the groundbreaking work of The Caterpillar Lab, entomologist David Wagner, and Doug Tallamy, co-founder of Homegrown National Park, highlighting the importance of native plants and the incredible impact of these small but essential creatures.
