Student curators will work with a librarian to create a one-case exhibit featuring materials from Special Collections. Students will learn how to select items for display, install the materials, write labels and exhibit text, and publicize the exhibit.

Student curators are required to select topics and materials for their exhibits from the materials found in Special Collections at The University of Southern Mississippi (USM). A list of select topics organized by major can be found here. Topics outside of this list are also encouraged.

This opportunity is available to all undergraduate and graduate students at USM. Three students will be selected to serve as student curators for the spring 2023 semester.
