Adding Call Number/Volume

Procedures for Adding Call Number/Volume

Add Call Number/Volume is adding items that are multiple volumes of the same record and need a different call number or scores that need parts added to the record.

  • Click Add Copy/Volume; type title of item (or how you would normally find the record)



  • Click Add Call Number and choose appropriate library; Click OK

  • Add any information to call number (i.e., Vol. #, “Parts,” “Score,” Part #,” etc….) and, if need, change type and home location  

  • In “STAFF” put initials and date; Scan barcode in item ID; Click OK; Review all work and make any additional corrections.
