In celebration of National American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month, an exhibit featuring books, government documents, and artifacts is on display in the Cook Library lobby through the end of November. The exhibit, “Native American Heritage: Selections from University Libraries and Friends,” combines items from University Libraries and those on loan from the USM archeology lab and Dr. Tammy Greer. The display includes Choctaw stick ball sticks, examples of Native American arts and crafts, and juvenile and general collection literature.
