University Libraries to Perform System Maintenance Thursday, October 17
News item published on: 2013-10-15 15:39:00University Libraries will perform system maintenance on Thursday, October 17, 2013. The following services will be unavailable from 10 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, until Friday, October 18, at approximately 8 a.m.

- Catalog Quick Search widget in all research guides
- Classic Catalog
- Course Reserves
- New Titles Lists
- My Library Account
- Payment of fines and fees at Circulation
Many systems and resources will be available during the maintenance period: access to the Libraries' website and article databases will not be affected. In lieu of the catalog, the advanced and expert search functions of the WorldCat database allow a user to limit search results to items in the University of Southern Mississippi Libraries.
iTech has also scheduled system maintenance for 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 17. Access to the Libraries’ website, and consequently access to all electronic resources and services, may be disrupted during the iTech maintenance period.
We expect normal services to resume on Friday, October 18. University Libraries and iTech apologize for the inconvenience, and ask for your understanding as we work to improve our services.
