Designing a Winning Poster Presentation

Join University Libraries on Wednesday, April 3 from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in Cook Library room 110 for the workshop, Designing a Winning Poster Presentation. This workshop will walk you through the process of creating a visually appealing and well-organized poster that will grab attention and aid in telling the story of your research.

Workshop attendees will learn:
• the goals and organization of a poster presentation
• design principles to help them present key information in a visually appealing way
• the tools used for poster creation
• where to find image resources

This workshop is appropriate for graduate students, undergraduate students (e.g., Undergraduate Symposium), and faculty who are new to the poster format
